The Museum of Discovery and Science in Fort Lauderdale, FL is a great place to take the whole family for an educational experience. They have many hands-on exhibits that are sure to keep every age engaged. The Museum has three floors with different areas: “Energize,” “Inform” and “Discovery.” On the first floor, there is something for everyone! The second floor covers all subjects such as engineering, energy, and space exploration – which also included a NASA exhibit. This museum has been around since 2004 when it opened up at Bill Baggs State Park in Miami Beach before moving to its current location off Griffin Road in 2011. Family fun abounds all year long with over 400 events hosted by this Museum each year including parties, workshops, and concerts featuring some local artists.
